Abu Dhabi, Apr 27:  A book “Hail Mary and Holy Rosary” written by Dr Vincent Fernandes was released by Fr Antony Lopez - Secretary to the Bishop Paul Hinder of Vicariate of Arabia and Sr Carmen - Mother Superior of Carmelite Convent - Abu Dhabi in the presence of well wishers and friends, in a ceremony held at St Joseph’s Cathedral - Abu Dhabi on Friday April 25, 2008.

This book is well presented with the meaning of Rosary and its importance in the present day life with Biblical quotes and phrases.  The book also reveals the history of Rosary, its beginning with meaningful explanation etc.

This book is Vincent’s third book in two years; the previous ones were “Christ’s Salvation Journey” and “Welding the Wedding” which are very popular and are  in Good demand.  Similarly this book would be an ideal guide for the people to enhance their knowledge about Holy Rosary in their present day to day life.

Dr Vincent Fernandes was born in Valencia in Mangalore.  He has a degree  in M.A. Psychology in Counselling from U.K. and Biblical Counselling from USA, and is a professional counsellor.  He is a man of immense self belief rich in resourcefulness with a success mantra.  He is a resident of Abu Dhabi since 30 years and is known for his social work, straightforwardness and out spokeness.

The book is released at a time when the May Month is fast approaching, which is dedicated to Mother Mary and Holy Rosary and will be of immense help for the people while reciting the Holy Rosary.

The book has been edited and published by Fr Santosh Menezes  O.F.M. Cap. - a prolific counsellor and preacher.

The book is available in all Church Stalls all over UAE and in Mangalore at reasonable cost.

I express my great delight on the release of Dr. Vincent Fernandes' new book - "Hail Mary and Holy Rosary'. We are proud to have him as our active member, whom we closely know as a selfless person serving the humanity in words (counselling), in deeds and at the time of their needs.

I have no words to describe his humility and simplicity. His earlier book 'Welding the Wedding' was a pathfinder to many a couple who were in dire need of self search and spiritual awakening. I am sure this new book will instil in us the much required spirituality and solace. In this disturbing world such a book is a ray of hope for the ones who have lost hope in life.

I am told the konkani translated version edited by none other than the Konkani Bhasha Pandit Melvyn Rodrigues is going to hit the stands very soon. I wish Dr. Vincent all the best in his profic writing. Keep going, Dr. until the last person on this planet earth realises the power and wisdom of Rosary. on behalf of all Daiji members
