Mangaluru, May 30: Vikas PU College shone gloriously with 13 of its students placing among the top 500 rank holders in the recent Karnataka CET. 22 of its students feature among the top 1000 scorers.
Four of its students cleared KVPY, and 60 students cleared JEE Mains this year.
A total of 320 of its students had appeared for CET.

Aishwarya Bannadabhavi secured the 431st rank and Shalini BM secured the 452nd rank in BSc Agri.
Shreyans Y secured the 249th rank, Santosh Kumbar the 251st, Raghunandan the 259th, Hamsini A S the 332nd, Shalini B M the 365th, Aishwarya B the 410th, and Shroff Prajwal the 596th rank in Veterinary.
Aishwarya Bannadabhavi secured the 331st rank, Shalini BM the 341st, Raghunandan the 416th, Shreyans Y the 534th, Santosh Kumbar the 616th, Arjun Chatra the 634th rank in ISHM.
Santosh Kumbar secured the 901st rank, and Shreyans secured the 902nd rank in B Pharma.
Shravya K J secured the 340th rank, and Sachin Kenchanna secured the 620th rank in Practical BSc.
Shravya K J secured the 219th rank, Sachin Kenchana the 509th, and Shabdhana K L secured the 790th rank in Practical Veterinary.
PUC Board Exams
Earlier, 341 of its students appeared for the state board exams for class 12, of which 108 students secured distinctions, and 211 students secured first class category. 93% of its students secured first class and above. 26 students secured a centum score in core subjects.
The total pass percentage for the commerce was 100%, and science stream was 97.46%, bringing the aggregate pass percentage of the college to a stunning 97.65%.
