"There is nothing similar between the two movies. Comedian Umesh Mijar is playing the lead for the first time. I want him to make him like sandalwood actor Sharan who started with comedy and then became the lead hero. Umesh has the ability to become Sharan of coastalwood. Karunakar Setty and Pragnesh Shetty will produce the film under the banner Bhavani Filmmakers. Keerthan Bhandary has penned the lyrics and the film comprises four songs. Naveen D Padil and Aravind Bolar will be seen in prominent roles in the movie. Aravind Bolar has lent his voice for the title song of the movie," said Ranjith.

"We are concentrating more on graphics. Movie will go on floor as early as possible. People of coastal region will definitely love the movie and we are ready to deliver a good film," he added.

Umesh Mijar is making his debut as a lead hero in 'Umil' along with Dombarata fame Pooja Shetty. The movie is a comedy riot with a unique concept and will feature lots graphics for the first time in coastalwood.
