Kundapur, Nov 21: Karnataka deputy chief minister and KPCC president D K Shivakumar expressed confidence that the INDIA coalition will emerge victorious in all elections held across the country.
Speaking to reporters after offering prayers at the Kollur Mookambika Temple before heading to Murudeshwar for a convention on Thursday morning, Shivakumar addressed various topics, including election surveys and government policies.
Commenting on the election surveys for assembly elections, Shivakumar remarked, “Election surveys were conducted in Karnataka too, but the results turned upside down. Such surveys cannot be trusted. The INDIA bloc will win everywhere.”
On the state’s by-elections, Shivakumar stated, “We have made an honest attempt. The rest is in God’s hands.”
When questioned about the exclusion of loyal Congress workers from positions in the Kollur temple administrative board, he responded, “We have adhered to what we promised during the election campaign. We have kept our word.”
Regarding the controversy over BPL card cancellations, Shivakumar assured, “The state government will not allow injustice to the eligible poor of Karnataka. If anyone has not received a BPL card, they will be issued a new one. Under no circumstances will the government act against the poor.”
