Bengaluru, Feb 23: JD(S) state president H D Kumaraswamy has said that he has evidence to prove that money was sent through cheque to BJP in New Delhi during BJP regime in the state.
Kumarswamy was speaking to reporters here on Wednesday February 22 briefing about the allegations he made recently aganist BJP on the issue of transfer of money from the state to New delhi during the time BJP was in power. State BJP president had demanded that the JD?(S) leader release the evidence.
“Yeddyurappa has challenged me to release evidence in this regard. I have sufficient proof to show that the cheques were sent.” Kumaraswamy added.
“If I release supporting documents, what purpose does it serve? Will Yeddyurappa ask Narendra Modi to take action? Will Yeddyurappa in public admit what action would be taken? It is not that I only recorded the details in the dairy. But I have evidence to prove what I alleged.” Kumaraswamy concluded.
