Mangaluru, Feb 15: Two men were found in decomposed state on the top of an under-construction building at Kankanady bypass road here on Wednesday February 15.
The identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained. However, from appearance, it is suspected that they may be siblings, aged between 30 and 35 years.
The bodies were found on top of a seven-floor under-construction building. The incident came to light when some women in a neighbouring building noticed the bodies and informed the police.
A broken wooden plank, liquor bottles, cigarette lighter, a small jar of Vicks VapoRub and earphones were found on the spot. The bodies were lying some distance apart.
Prima facie, the police suspect that it may be a case of suicide. However, murder has not been ruled out. Eyewitnesses said that there were head injury marks on both the bodies. It is suspected that the death may have occured at least two or three days ago.
