Bengaluru: Dr Charles Lobo takes charge as Chief Postmaster General Karnataka

Bengaluru, Feb 12: Dr Charles Lobo recently took charge as Chief Postmaster General, Karnataka Circle.

Dr Charles Lobo belongs to the 1987 batch of the Indian Postal Service.

Dr Lobo completed his post graduation from Bangalore University in Political Science and completed his doctorate in 2015 in Governance from Karnataka University. Before assuming the new role in Karnataka, he was working as Chief Postmaster General, Tamil Nadu Circle, Chennai.

Prior to that, he was in Maharashtra Circle as PMG Goa Region and also PMG (Mails and BD).

Dr Charles hails from Bejai in Mangaluru and he started his career as Lecturer in Political Science at Sacred Heart College in Madanthyar, Beltangady taluk.
