Moodbidri, Jan 16: The annual cultural festival, 'Alva's Virasat - 2017' that was organized at Puthige since the last three days under the aegis of Alva's Education Foundation concluded on a high note on Sunday January 15. The day's programme began with songs of different genres rendered superbly by gifted Bollywood playback singer, Shaan, and Payal Dev. The numbers, which inspired the people to clap, gyrate, and flow with the music, took them altogether to a different world.

In the dance programme which followed, a team of 40 students from Alva's educational institutions presented 'Bharatanatyam - Pushpanjali' under the direction of Sheela Unnikrishnan from Chennai, while a group of 30 students performed stick dance of Manipur under the direction of Preetam Singh. A folk dance from Srilanka, directed by Jayampati Bhandara from Colombo, was presented by 60 students. With this, the three-day Alva's Virasat came to an end.
