Good initiative but I would like to highlight a few things here which I have heard from serving paramilitary personnel (in this case CRPF). Compared to the Army, the Paramilitary Forces have more to lose than to gain. The job benefits are very low in comparison to the Army whereas the chances of death on duty are considerably high. As we know, CRPF is deployed in Naxal affected and other hostile areas where the chances of death per se are very high according to statistics. I agree that media coverage for these deaths is not extensive, hence it is not really known to general public.
Hence I feel that, even though tribute should be paid to our brave martyrs in case of such unfortunate events, let us not forget our paramilitary personnel who get martyred protecting us from internal enemies.

BJP do not politicize the issue of 18 soldiers matyr's death. Rather feel ashamed of yourself as the BJP party is ruling at the centre.

It would be better for for you, to accept the failures of your leadership. You are just incompetent and exploiting the sentiment of common man.

Kargil war more than 1000 soldiers died because of the lack of foresight by the Defense as our soldiers did not have winter shoes to fight the battle. You are only good in creating animosity atmosphere within India to get political mileage.

We have lost soldiers not because they were incapable of handling the whole issue but it is the Defense Ministry failed in all angles. Soldiers safety, sophisticated weapons, enough stock of ammunition, Logistics support all are lacking.

    Enough is enough!

All these years we were lenient and waited with enough patience. But now it is high time for us to be united, irrespective of caste, religion or party and give these ruthless butchers a befitting reply. Just imagine the plight of the families of our dear brother soldiers who have sacrificed and laid down their precious lives for each one of us. It is indeed deplorable. I condemn this brutal act. May the souls of the departed brethren rest in peace.

No doubt, Kashmir is an integral part of India whatsoever and we have to fight tooth and nail with these guys and flush them out from our soil, once and for all. The whole world is aware of that Pakistan is the epicentre of terrorism and the army too is in hand and glove with these terrorists. We can’t be a mute spectator and remain silent again.

I now sincerely urge our Union government to act swiftly and take appropriate drastic steps to stop the atrocities by these Pak terrorists and ensure that they never exist in this universe. If Pakistan fail to immediately curb this menace, the whole world will isolate them. I have even no doubt that in the very near future they will be totally wiped out and eliminated from the international map of the world.

Long live India! JAI HIND MAHAAN BHARATH.

Sensible points. However direct confrontation with pakistan is not an option at this time given the fact Pak has China's backing considering China Pak Economic Corridor, which is the biggest game changer for China economically.

Instead, we should initiate steps towards integrating Kashmir with India - like revocation of article 370, take aggressive stands against Hurriyat and other separatists who are pro-pakistan. This is possible with the backing of all political parties, leaving politics aside.
