Mangalore, Dec 5: ‘Most Talented – Teenager ‘07’ inter-high school competitions were held at Besant English Medium High School, managed by Konkani Mahila Vidyadayini Sangh, Kodialbail, recently.
Dr M C Hrushikesh, director, Besant Educational Centre, Bondel, in the city, in his inaugural address, called on the student to balance their emotional quotients by engaging themselves in extra-curricular activities along with studies. It is essential for the students to be disciplined, competitive and offer their best to all the daily tasks. This would enable them to reach their goal.
B Mohan Naik, secretary, Konkani Mahila Vidyadayini Sangh, in his presidential address, said that it is not important to bag the prizes instead the participants should compete in right spirit. Moreover, the parents are advised to encourage their children to take part in competitions, in order to enhance their competitiveness in the global era.
K Sadanand Pai, school correspondent, Rajashree Pai, president, Parents-Teachers Association, were also present.
