Pana PU College holds 'Jagruthi' health awareness programme

Mangaluru, Aug 1: Pana Pre-University College, Kolambe, Bajpe organised a health awareness programme under the title 'Jagruthi' on Saturday July 30 with a vision to enrich the social, cultural and health related responsibilities among the students and the general public.






In this regard the students were grouped into 4 teams, and they will travel to Bajpe, Kaikamba Junction, Kaikamba market and Ganjimata and four schools in the nearby areas to deliver the message by performing street plays, mime shows and short awareness talks based on the theme 'Healthy Youth for a Healthy Society' in order to create health related awareness.

The schedule of the programme is as follows:

Team 1
Government High School Kinnikambla at 10.00 am and Kaikamba junction at 11.00 am.

Team 2
Government High School Adyapadi at 10.00 am and Bajpe junction at 11.00 am.

Team 3
Sri Niranjana High School Sunkadakatte at 10.00 am and near Kaikamba market at 11.00 am.

Team 4
Urdu Primary School, Ganjimata at 10.00 am and Ganjimata junction at 11.00 am

This programme is conducted by the II PU students with support from their teachers as part of creating socially conscious youth in the college and at the same time to create awareness among the general public.
