Gauri Khan unveils Mahesh Notandass' festive collection


Mumbai, Oct 24 (IANS): Brand ambassador Gauri Khan, an entrepreneur and wife of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, has unveiled the festive collection at the Mahesh Notandass Fine Jewellery store with style and fanfare.

She was seen in exquisite pieces from the 'Heritage Collection' which is an elaborate mixture of culture and extravaganza.

Owner Deepa Jagwani and entrepreneur Kunika Singh played hosts to select guests including actresses Bhagyashree, Kiran Sippy and Poonam Dhillon on Friday.

'Heritage collection' is a concoction of uncut diamonds and coloured stones with highlight on intricate enamel detailing capturing the stylish refinement of the season. The regal neckpieces, signature jhumkas, traditional maang tikas and haath phools, cocktail rings form a perfect compilation of bijou box.

"We are committed to constantly developing unmatched and un-compromised jewellery designs along with maintaining the high standards we are known for. In the coming months we will be introducing sparkling new collections to watch out for," Mahesh Jagwani said in a statement.

The scion to the Mahesh Notandass Empire, Vandana Jagwani, who supports Mann Foundation, also launched her debutante collection Belle by Vandana. Part of sale's proceeds from the collection will go towards the charity.

As creative head, this is the first collection curated by Vandana which focuses on feminine and youthful pieces like cluster gold bangles with trimmings, evil eye rings and pendants.
