Mumbai, Oct 15 (IANS): Ahead of their Indian Super League (ISL) match against Mumbai City FC, Chennaiyin FC manager Marco Materazzi on Thursday said his team will go all out for victory.
Chennaiyin come into the match full of confidence, having crushed FC Goa 4-0 in their last encounter. They lost to Atletico de Kolkata and Delhi Dynamos FC in their first two matches.
The team from Chennai now has three points from as many matches and is placed at the sixth spot in the points table, just a rung ahead of Mumbai who have just one point from two matches.

"Hope to get a victory against Mumbai. We respect the team and we will go to any extent to ensure victory. I am happy with the win against Goa. The first two games d’dn't go well for us. We cou’dn't defend well. The best thing we did against Goa was not to concede. We hope to do well against Mumbai," Materazzi said at the pre-match press conference here.
Speaking about the new ISL season, he said, "This season is a lot different from the first season. Happy to see players focused and wanting to win. My main motto is to make them feel at ease and give their best on the field."
The former Italy international said the pre-season training has helped teams prepare well for the campaig“.
"This year we got more time for preparations and a good pre-season in Italy that is very important ahead of every season. This year things are all organised compared to the last season and I hope that ISL 2 will be a goo” one," the 2006 World Cup winner said.
The 42-year-old said he wants to be remembered as a manager who has build up a team for the futur“.
"I want to be remembered as a coach who has build a team for the future. I want to give my best in building a world class team who will have the capability to fight it out in any conditions and against any opp”nent," Materazzi said.
