Mangaluru: Education today lacks morality – Kantapuram Musliyar

Mangaluru, Oct 13: “The new generation is growing in an immoral atmosphere. Therefore, it is necessary to teach morality and religion along with modern text books,” said Sultanul Ulama Kantapuram A P Aboobacker Musliyar, chief secretary, Calicut Markaz.


















He was speaking as the chief orator at the Markaz Excellency Club working meeting. “Lack of morality is the reason for the violence in India which has the largest educational institutes,” he opined.

Sayyid Fazul Koyamma Thanjal presided over the conference held at Sahodaya auditorium. Karnataka state minister of health U T Khader inaugurated the programme.

Karnataka Jamyiyathul Ulama president Bekal Ibrahim Musliyar, M Abdul Hameed Musliyar Mani, P M Abbas Musliyar Manjanady, MLA Moideen Bava, businessmen Yenepoya Mohammed Kunhi, non resident businessman Zakariya, Bajpe Wakf board president S M Rasheed Haji, and Aziz Hassan Haji conveyed their wishes.

Calicut Markaz director Dr Abdul Hakeem Azhari, Markaz H R Manager Hameed Hassan, and Abdurrasheed Zaini gave speeches.

B M Mamtaz Ali Krishnapura welcomed. Haider Parthipadi proposed the vote of thanks.
