Mangaluru Oct 7: "Students should maintain discipline and study hard to achieve success in their future thereby earning laurels for their almamater," opined Karnataka Bank chief general manager M S Mahabaleshwara Bhat. He spoke as chief guest on the 'Free umbrella distribution to the students' of DKZP School, Mannagudda organized by Shield Trust Mangaluru on October 7 at the school hall.







Later he distributed 135 umbrellas to the students as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR).

He further complemented the office bearers of the Shield Trust and assured them that the bank will always support their charitable and community development oriented activities.

Dy SP Lokayukta Vittaldas Pai graced the occasion as guest of honor. He urged the teaching faculty to impart quality education to the students and groom them as the best future citizens. He also lauded the community development projects initiated by the Shield Trust.

Srinivas Deshpande chief manager Karnataka Bank, Rotary Club PRO Rtn M V Mallya, Shield Trust president Dharmith Rai and secretary Vardhan Pai were present on the dais.

Former head Joyce Henrita welcomed the gathering. Teacher Pushpalatha proposed the vote of thanks and teacher Shashikala compered the program.
