Los Angeles, Sep 21 (IANS): Actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus took home an Emmy Award in the Outstanding Lead Actress In a Comedy Series category at the 67th annual Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony for her role in "Veep".
The annual television award ceremony is being held at the Microsoft Theater here on Sunday.
It is Louis-Dreyfus fourth consecutive Emmy win.
Taking a dig at politician Donald Trump, the actress thanked the cast and creators of the HBO series while accepting her award.
"Thank you everyone - crew, cast and writers. I would also like to honour all the women in the nomination category. I love powerful funny women. And in the end I would thank my husband and my children," Louis-Dreyfus said.
Other nominations in the category included Lisa Kudrow for "The Comeback", Edie Falco for "Nurse Jackie", Amy Poehler for "Parks and Recreation", Amy Schumer for "Inside Amy Schumer" and Lily Tomlin for "Grace and Frankie".
