Bengaluru, Sep 9: As part of the forthcoming ``Invest Karnataka 2015’’ global investors meet on November 23 to 25 at the Bengaluru Palace Grounds, the State Government is organising a roadshow in the national capital of Delhi on Tuesday.
Karnataka being one of the most investor friendly States in the country is making concerted steps to offer potential investors the best experience in setting up businesses across the state.
As part of the Siddaramaiah Government’s campaign to promote the state as the most viable destination for investment, the State will be holding its global investors meet “Invest Karnataka 2015”.
Karnataka’s Large and Medium Industries Minister R V Deshpande, who is also holding charge of the Tourism Department, will be meeting investors in New Delhi to impress upon them the advantages of investing in Karnataka.
Apart from being the Silicon Valley of India, the State boasts of many other distinctions including the knowledge hub of India, start-up capital of India, aerospace hub and innovation cluster.
This has bolstered the enthusiasm of the Government of Karnataka to renew its commitment to the investors’ community across the globe.
The State Government has taken a slew of proactive steps to attract and retain investments across several sectors into the state.
Having embarked on a massive promotional campaign encompassing industry outreach within and outside the country, Karnataka is set to attract investments across various sectors.
Deshpande, will be addressing the business community leaders in Delhi to cash in on the opportunity to invest in Karnataka.
Attributing Karnataka’s success to the State’s focus on industrialisation over the years, Deshpande will be highlighting the various initiatives taken by the State Government in enhancing the State’s infrastructure, incentives available for industries and the numerous advantages of investing in Karnataka.
The CEOs of Rolls Royce, GlaxoSmithKline, J K Tyres will share their experience of doing business in Karnataka during Delhi Road Show.
The State’s team headed by the Large and Medium Industries Minister, comprises of Kaushik Mukherjee, Chief Secretary and K Rathna Prabha, Additional Chief Secretary to Commerce and Industries Department and other senior officers will hold series of B2G Meetings at New Delhi.
