Mumbai, Aug 21 (IANS): Actress Karisma Kapoor, a mother of two, says stress is the "toughest" aspect that women need to deal with, and she believes it's important that they control it from a young age.
Karisma was present as a guest of honour at an interactive session by an eminent panel of doctors discussing the importance of 'Women Wellness' where she spoke on stress.
She said: "Being a young mother and trying to balance everything, I can say that the biggest thing for us women is to take care of stress. We are stressing the moment we wake up. What should we make for food, what would my daughter eat, how do I get them to eat all the nutrients in each and every meal. Stress, according to me, is the toughest thing to deal with."
Karisma's advice to all the women is to eat right and also do physical activities to stay fit and keep away from stress.
"My way of de-stressing and being healthy or maintaining wellness is that I do a lot of yoga. I take walks... and being a Kapoor, I love to eat. You may not believe me, but I ate a pizza at my shoot yesterday.
"I enjoy my food but then I'll also take out the time to exercise, but in a healthy way. I'm not into gymming or taking supplements as I try to do it in the healthiest way possible. Eat healthy and also spoil yourself with pizzas and biryani like I do, but do everything in moderation," said the 41-year-old.
