Los Angeles, July 5 (IANS): Actress Cate Blanchett says she is exhausted since expanding her family to four children.
She and husband Andrew Upton, who have three children together, adopted Edith Vivian Patricia last year.
"I feel a bit sleep deprived," Blanchett told Sunday Telegraph, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Blanchett, who is preparing to tread the boards in an upcoming production of "The Present", said that there are some benefits.
"Although sometimes, it can be good to be a bit tired in a rehearsal room because your guard is down," she said.
The "Carol" actress earlier said it was "extraordinary" to have a another baby in the family.
"It's been an absolute gift and we're utterly besotted," she said.
The 46-year-old also shared that she and her family are "absolutely besotted" with her daughter Edith.
"Fourth time round, it's extraordinary! There's a lot of children out there who don't have the good fortune that our biological children do. So, it's wonderful, it's wonderful to welcome a little girl into our fold," she said.
