It is learnt that Tony and Ramesh along with Deepak came to the dam in the afternoon on Tuesday by auto rickshaw. Tony and Ramesh dived into the water while Deepak stayed behind as he did not know swimming. They came up from the water and again after a few minutes dived in from a higher level, but got washed away by the currents.

Fire service personnel, life guards from Tannirbavi  along with Kavoor police rushed to the spot for the search operations.

At dusk the search operations had to be stopped due to poor visibility. Police said that the search will begin on Wednesday early morning.

Our policemen are great. Apart from maintaining law and order they have to spend their time in searching dead bodies in situations like this for the stupid acts of some people like these. I don't understand when we Indians learn about a thing called 'safety'.
