Chitraduraga, June 23: In politics nobody knows whose friend is who. And also who defends whom. When Yeddyurappa’s name is mentioned in the media almost every day for wrong reasons, nobody seems to be coming to defend him in public. But one man has really come to his rescue. And he is not from BJP, but from JD(S).

While the Lokayuktha has been registering cases against Yeddyurappa on daily basis, only Kumaraswamy has decided to bat for him presently.

“What is the point in registering cases against Yeddyurappa when there are already several cases registered against him? If they have guts, let them register cases against me,” Former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy said in a press briefing on Monday.

“Why should they scare Yeddyurappa? Siddaramaiah took help when Yeddyurappa was the chief minister. But now he has forgotten those things. Siddaramaiah is instilling fear in Yeddyurappa so that he does not speak against the government,” Kumaraswamy alleged.

“Siddaramaiah should not use denotification tool to scare opposition. We do not care about denotification, CID probe, CAG report and FIR threats. Government cannot stop our agitation. I fear the people not the threats,”He added.

“Why the government is not taking action on the revelation of CAG report, money misappropriation, Rs 300 scam in water department etc?” Kumaraswamy quipped.
