Beltangady, Jun 19: Former Karnataka minister, Janardhan Reddy, visited Dharmasthala accompanied by his family members on Thursday June 18 morning, and paid obeisance to Lord Manjunatheshwara.
Reddy had his wife, Aruna Laxmi, son, Kireeti, daughter, Bhramini, a close aide, Sanjay Betageri and Taranath Kapikad, with him during this visit.
He reached Dharmasthala by road after arriving at Mangaluru by flight. After offering special puja to the Lord, he met Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari, Dr D Veerendra Heggade.
Reportedly, a number of leaders have met Janardhan Reddy during the last two weeks and discussed about his political future. It is said that Reddy wanted to invoke the blessings of Lord Manjunatheshwara before deciding on his future political move.
It may be recalled that Reddy's close confidante and former minister, Sriramulu, also had visited Dharmasthala recently.
Reddy and his family returned to Bengaluru by flight from Mangaluru in the afternoon.
