Mumbai, Jun 18: In his next venture titled Dangal, actor Aamir Khan who has two sons and a daughter will soon be seen as the father of four daughters. The makers of the movie have finalised the four actresses who will be playing the roles of Aamir's children in the film.
Zaira Wasim from Jammu and Kashmir, Suhani Bhatnagar from Delhi, Fatima Shaikh from Hyderabad and Sanya Malhotra, have been finalised for the film. Dangal is said to based on the life and times of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and his daughter Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat. Geeta and Babita too went on to become noted wrestlers of our country. Geeta recently won the first ever Gold medal in the arena of 55 kg freestyle women's wrestling at the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
Babita brought home the silver medal in the very same games but in the 51 kg free style category.
The movie also talks of the relationship shared by father and his daughters. Aamir had spoken about the story portrayed in the film, saying, “Dangal is not just a film about wrestling but an emotional journey of a father and his two daughters, which teaches us to empower our girls.”
Allegedly Aamir will shoot the scenes that require him to portray an older Mahavir Singh at first and then work on the scenes about the wrestler in his younger years after losing the appropriate amount of weight. The movie is said to go on floors in September.
