Arijit Singh's symphony concert in Mumbai on July 5


Mumbai, June 17 (IANS): Bollywood playback singer Arijit Singh is all set to spread a wave of melodious music and rhythms with a concert titled 9XM Dome Musically Yours Arijit Singh Live with Symphony Orchestra, here on July 5.

The concert, which is being organised by music channel 9XM in partnership with Mirah Entertainment and Dome @NSCI SVP Stadium, will be held at the NSCI Stadium, said a statement.

The singer, who has spread love and ignited romance with his music through songs like "Tum hi ho", "Muskurane" and "Hamari adhuri kahani", is thrilled to be a part of the symphony concert being performed in India for the first time and hopes to live up to the "musical extravaganza."

"I am pleased to present my fans with such a unique concert. The precession and rehearsals required to pull off a live performance with symphony orchestra is a mammoth task. This will be my first symphony concert in India and I hope to delight my fans with the musical extravagana," Arijit said in a statement.

Kapil Sharma, marketing head of the channel, said they intend to provide music lovers a memorable experience though the live performance.

"Through this platform, we intend to provide music lovers a memorable experience and an opportunity to connect with their favourite music star and vice-versa," Sharma said.

The concert will also be aired through a special 30 minute episode on 9XM channel and it will be promoted through a 360-degree campaign.
