Difficult to sustain comedy: Sumeet Raghavan

Mumbai, June 11 (IANS): On completion of one year of TV show "Badi Dooooor Se Aaye Hain", actor Sumeet Raghavan says it's a “big achievement” for the entire cast as it is hard to make viewers laugh.

“I am ecstatic. I don't have words to express my happiness. We have completed one year. It is a very big achievement considering it’s so difficult to sustain a comedy. Hats off to the whole team. (We) hope to continue doing quality work and entertain the audience,” Sumeet said in a statement.

The Sab TV show, which completed one year on Tuesday, narrates a comical tale of an alien family which is struggling to settle with humans on earth while learning the intricacies of human nature and behaviour.

I've become good friends with Kritika Kamra: Puru Chibbar

Actors Puru Chibbar and Kritika Kamra, who play good friends in TV show “Reporters” are also very fond of each other off screen. The former says the duo have too many things in common and like to spend time together in between shoots.

“Initially I did not know Kritika well and therefore our conversations were only restricted to simple ‘hi’ and ‘bye’. But as time passed, we realised that we had so much in common and started talking about our interests. And in no time, we became good friends," Puru said in a statement.

“We make sure that we catch up on each other’s life and have small 'gupshup' (chat) sessions in between shoot breaks. You always get to know a person better when you spend some quality time with them,” he added.

Apart from Kritika and Puru, “Reporters” also stars actor Rajeev Khandelwal.

The Sony Entertainment Television show focuses on the behind the camera life of journalists, along with the angle of an intense love story between the characters they portray.

Actress Asmita Sood, who is making her TV debut with upcoming TV show “Phir Bhi Na Maane… Badtameez Dil”, says she confident about her decision to move to the small screen as there she will be seen “five times in a week rather than in a movie which comes at long intervals of time”.
