Mumbai, June 9 (IANS): Hollywood actress Wendy Glenn, who has been cast in Indian filmmaker Onir's new film "Veda", is looking forward to her visit to India.
To be directed by Onir and produced by Bhavna Talwar, "Veda" is a contemporary adaptation of William Shakespeare's iconic play "Hamlet".
Happy about the Indian collaboration, Glenn said in a statement: "It is such a pleasure to be working with Onir, my co-actors, Bhavna and the team and on such an amazing script. It has been a great experience so far, I cannot wait for the next schedule in India and to experience the magic that is India for the first time."
Glenn has displayed her acting acumen in films like "Mercy", "You're Next" and "11-11-11" apart from television series like "CSI", "Hollyoaks" and "Reunion".
Onir of "I Am" fame is excited to work with the talent of "wonderful quality".
"Wendy is a phenomenal actor and we are so happy to have her as part of the film. She immerses herself in the character, which is such a wonderful quality," Onir said in a statement.
"Veda" is slated to release in 2016.
