Mangaluru, Jun 8: Frank Fernandes, well-known NRI entrepreneur from Dubai and film producer who has made movies under the banner of 'Ferns International', is all set to bring out another Konkani movie, which is yet to be named.
Frank Fernandes forayed into film production with his maiden movie 'Kazar' which featured his son Larry Fernandes. He then ventured into making a Kannada movie named 'Ellellu Neene Nannallu Neene'. Though both movies did not see huge success in box office, Frank is satisfied with his venture into the movie industry.
'Jai Tulunadu', his third movie has completed shooting, and is set to release all over Karnataka in mid-August this year.
To promote Konkani language and culture through cinema, Frank is now producing a new Konkani movie, shooting for which is expected to begin during August this year.
"This time I want to provide a fair opportunity to acting talents of undivided South Kanara and Gulf regions. No one will be selected for roles on recomondation. We will choose talents only through a thorough search in the form of auditions," says Frank Fernandes.
Those who are confident of performing in front of the camera can apply for lead and supporting roles. At least 15 to 20 artistes are required for the movie, according to the producer.
The first round of auditions will be held in Mangaluru, in Daijiworld corporate office during mid-June, and similarly, Dubai auditions will be held during end of June.

Candidates irrespective of caste, creed, language and religion can apply. Experience in theatre, movies and serials will be an added advantage.
