Puttur, Apr 13: The grand audio release of the upcoming Kannada movie ‘Kanasu Kannu Teredaga’ directed by debutant Santhosh Shetty Kateel and produced by Ganasiri Creations in collaboration with Manikya Combines was held at Jaina Bhavna Puttur on Sunday, April 12.
‘Kanasu Kannu Teredaga’ encapsulates the story of two young boys Sanju and Manju, the former born to a wealthy family and the latter to a poverty stricken home. The film takes a symbolic look at the life of two boys who are raised in different classes of the society. They inspire each other with the help of a ‘Mad Professor’ to succeed in their goal of making the city clean.
Prof Gangadhar Bellare who is playing the role of a ‘Mad Professor’ in ‘Kanasu’ along with Shashidhar BN- Block Education Officer Puttur and Chidhanand Kamath , was the chief guest on the occasion. He spoke a few words of motivation to the young artistes in the movie.
The producers of Kanasu, Thammana Shetty, Ganasiri Kiran Kumar and director Santhosh Shetty along with other dignitaries on the dais began the ceremony by lighting the lamp and shared their work experience with the crew and a large number of child artistes and the locals.
The token of appreciation was presented to the artistes, the technical crew and for all individuals who contributed in making of this movie by movie maker after the audio release. For the first time, in the Kannada movie Industry, all the artistes and technical team members of the movie ‘Kanasu Kannu Teredaga’ were called on to the stage individually to receive the token of appreciation.
Kum Shama Parvez Taj, a budding magician, released the audio CD of ‘Kanasu Kannu Teredaga’ and also mesmerised the audience with one of her magic tricks.
Ganasiri Kiran Kumar also enthralled the crowed with her songs. The release of the trailer was followed by cultural dance performances which kept the crowd on its feet.
The music composed by Yashwanth Udupi, background score by Nithun Kumar and lyrics by Razak Puttur, received a great response from the audience. The music is already creating a buzz amidst locals and the movie is all set to rock the silver screen this summer.
