Amit Shah lands in Bengaluru
Bengaluru, Apr 2 (DHNS): When Amit Shah arrived in Bengaluru on Wednesday evening, party workers and leaders made every effort to garland him.
But it was not easy to see him from close quarters, thanks to the security cover.
The Kempegowda International Airport was thronged by BJP men sporting saffron caps and T-shirts. He arrived by a special aircraft. Shah will be in the City for the next three days.
He was accorded a traditional welcome by B S Yeddyurappa, Ananth Kumar, D V Sadananda Gowda, Shobha Karandlaje, R Ashoka, Katta Subramanya Naidu and others.
Party workers had waited for nearly two hours outside the VVIP exit point, to have a glimpse of their leader. Though his vehicle did not stop for long, he made it a point to wave at the crowd.
