Mumbai, Mar 18: The much awaited Anurag Kashyap directed movie 'Bombay Velvet' starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma will have its trailer launched by its male lead just before the match between India and Bangladesh.
Set in the 1960's the movie also has director Karan Johar playing a negative role and was more in the news for KJo being the bad man rather than Anushka sashaying as a jazz dancer. The first looks of the movie have been out and about for a while now and it has shown Ranbir as a street fighter of the era it is set in.
Phantom Films have tweeted on their handle, “Don’t forget to catch the #BombayVelvet trailer, tomorrow at 8 a.m. on @StarSportsIndia!” The tweet was accompanied with links to promos where Ranbir asks of his audiences to tune in to watch the trailer of his upcoming movie.
Apparently adapted from Gyan Prakash's Mumbai Fables, the movie is jointly produced by Phantom Films and Fox Star India. It is scheduled to be in the theatres two months from now, on the 15th of May, 2015.
