Mumbai, March 2 (IANS): Actress Rachana Parulkar, who portrays the role of maharani Ajabde Punwar in historical drama show "Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap", says doing consummation scenes on-screen is "tough and challenging."
In the upcoming episodes of the Sony Entertainment Television show, viewers will see Pratap and his lady love Ajabde take their marriage to the next level.
"Consummation sequence is definitely tough to enact. There are a lot of difficulties which are faced while portraying such sequences, as it deals with a matter of discomfort. For any actor, it is challenging to do the consummation scene with his or her co-actor. But to overcome such challenges is what defines a true actor," Rachana said in a statement.
Rachana has previously appeared in TV shows like "Saat Phere - Saloni Ka Safar" and "Ek Mutthi Aasmaan".

Ronit Roy's revengeful Holi
Actor Ronit Roy, who portrays Niel in popular TV show "Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar", took a colourful revenge from his co-stars after they were teasing him while shooting for the Holi sequence.
As the festival of colours is just around the corner, actors Avinash Mukherjee, Rhea Sharma and Mehul Vyas were seen teasing Ronit in between shots by throwing water on him using pichkaris.
"The kids were teasing him and he took his 'badla' by colouring everyone. It was lot of fun shooting for the sequence. Everyone was running helter-skelter, but Ronit ensured no one was left colourless and dry," Ashwini Kalsekar, who plays the role of Ronit's on screen sister, Pam said in a statement.
Ashwini said that Ronit even got "organic colours" on the set of the show, which is aired on Sony Entertainment television.
"By the end of it, everyone was unrecognisable," added Ashwini.

'Badi Dooooor...' cast heads to Rann Utsav
The upcoming episodes of the popular alien comedy series "Badi Dooooor Se Aaye Hai" will next witness the Rann Utsav of Gujarat.
The Ghotala family of the show will be seen travelling to the state, especially Rann of Kutch on a special mission.
At Rann Utsav, they will witness different kind of culture - the dance, music and food of the place, which is all new to them.
"We were all so excited when we found out that we were going to visit the Rann of Kutch together. Now that we are finally here we are relishing every bit of it and having the time of our lives. Getting a chance to work at such exotic locations is always fun," Sumeet Raghavan, who plays Vasant Ghotala in the show, said in a statement.
"Badi Dooooor Se Aay Hai" is aired on SAB TV.
