Los Angeles, March 2 (IANS): Rapper Ludacris and wife Eudoxie Mbouguiengue are expecting their first child together.

In a photograph that both shared on photo-sharing website Instagram on Sunday, the 37-year-old rapper is seen kissing his bikini-clad spouse's baby bump, reports eonline.com.

"Beautiful day on the beach," wrote Eudoxie, who posted the picture first on her page.

Ludacris reposted the photograph, which appears to have been retouched, saying: "Beautiful day indeed."

Sources close to the couple, who wed two months ago, confirmed that they are awaiting a baby together. However, it is unclear when the photograph was taken.

The couple surprised fans the day after Christmas last year by revealing they were engaged and announced just a few weeks later that they had already exchanged wedding vows.

The rapper has two children from previous relationships. He won primary custody of his one-year-old daughter last month.
