'Dum Laga Ke Haisha' gets thumbs up from B-Town

Mumbai, Feb 28 (IANS): A film that narrates a heart-warming tale of two imperfect people coming together only to find eternal love -- "Dum Laga Ke Haisha" -- has managed to tug at the heartstrings of members of the film fraternity, for staying true to the essence of the story in a simple yet powerful manner.

With a message that 'Love comes in all sizes', the movie introduces Bhumi Pednekar, who was previously part of Yash Raj Films' casting division, to the world of showbiz. She has been paired with Ayushmann Khurrana.

The film is about the journey of a couple who get married under family pressure and shows how they move on from finding faults in physical appearances and find love.

The movie reminded actress Aditi Rao Hydari of pure and selfless love.

"#DumLagaKeHaisha is pure love @ayushmannk@psbhumi @Shanoozeing@Sharatkatariya and a grrrreat cast #SheebaChaddha Sanjaymishra#SeemaPahwa," Aditi wrote on Twitter.

While Rajkummar Rao praised its director Sharat Katariya and the star cast for bringing forward a world full of love and hope, "Hawaa Hawaai" actor Saqib Saleem went gaga about the mushiness of the lead pair.

"#DLKH What a wonderful film with beautiful characters & performances. Thank you @Sharatkatariya for creating this lovely world. Watch it guys," Rajkummar shared.

"#DumLagaKeHaisha is the most endearing film u will see in a long time...@ayushmannk n @psbhumi make u fall in love with them...super stuff," Saqib posted.

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh wished luck to the whole team of the film. "All the best to my darling @psbhumi for @DumLagaKeHaisha! Can't wait to see it! So proud & happy," Ranveer shared.
