Vikas Khanna finds Malayalam 'difficult'

Mumbai, Feb 25 (IANS): Celebrity chef Vikas Khanna, who was in Kerala for a shoot of ongoing cookery show "MasterChef India", tried learning Malayalam. But he found it to be a tough nut to crack.

While on shoot in Kerala, Khanna was seen chatting with a local crew member in between shots and learning the language, said a source.

Talking about the experience, the Michelin-starred Indian chef said in a statement: “I have just managed to get fluency in Hindi with the help of my fellow judges Sanjeev (Kapoor) and Ranveer (Brar) and this time, it was time to learn Malayalam. Kerala is truly god’s own country but the language is extremely difficult."

“MasterChef India” is aired on Star Plus.
