Deve Gowda to bring back leaders who have left JD(S)

Bengaluru, Feb 16 (DHNS): After vacating the party office on Race Course Road near Anand Rao Circle as per court order, JD(S) national president H D Deve Gowda on Sunday said he will strive to strengthen the party by bringing back leaders who left it in the past.

Addressing reporters before vacating the office building, he said he will personally talk to such leaders and bring them back to the party. “Some leaders left the party in pursuit of power. There are some who left because they were hurt for some reasons. I will strive to bring them back in order to add more strength to the party,” he stated.

Gowda oversaw the work to vacate the building “Congress House” which housed
the JD(S) office for several years.

Temporary arrangement

The JD(S) will henceforth function from the nearby Mourya Hotel. But it is only a temporary arrangement and the new office building will be constructed as and when a plot is finalised.

Most of the office documents and furniture were shifted to godowns owned by the party workers in Bengaluru. The State Congress recently won a case pertaining to the ownership of the building.

Further, Gowda said he will also hold talks with the party leaders who have distanced themselves from the party and iron out differences, if any. “I alone cannot strengthen the party. I am not upset with anybody. I hope I have the support of all MLAs, MLCs, MPs in this task,” he added.

The former prime minister said possession of the building “Congress House” will be handed over to KPCC president G Parameshwara on Monday. “This is my last visit to Congress Bhavan. The question of my shedding tears does not arise,” he stated.

Deve Gowda, gone are the days of Regional parties. When Congress is experiencing the slow demise and the emerging AAP has seen the success there would not be any scope for your JDS. You better join BJP or strengthen AAP but do not expect to become CM once again

Yesterday Devegowda handed over the possession of race course road office to Cong as per court order. Now JDS has no place to keep even a table. Still he is talking of bringing back those who have left JDS. It is wise to dissolve your party and allow your members to join AAP and you should take Rajakiya sanyaasa.

Hunger for power and money will never allow them to gracefully accept retirement in life.

They never go to retreat/vipasana to understand the meaning of life!

That's why he can't understand that, as we age, God curtails our physical and mind power to make scope for next generation, who are brought in to live their life and play their role!
They are stumbling block to revolving Universe!

It is ironic that the existing leaders(5-6 MLAs including Zameer Ahmed and Cheluvaraya Swami) of JDS are not in good terms with HDK and Devegowda.War of words, dissents and threat to quit the party with in is order of day.Now it is also ironic that with out being own house in order, how come TALLAQ leaders of JDS dare to rejoin the party?
