Paris, Jan 17 (IANS): Thanks to a dramatic 90th minute goal, Nice came from behind to prevail 2-1 over Bordeaux and climbed to the top half of the Ligue 1 table.
It was the Girondins who opened scoring first through a penalty from Diego Rolan in the 33rd minutes after the visitors' goalkeeper Mouez Hassen brought down Nicolas Maurice-Belay, reports Xinhua.
Nice, however, cancelled it out in the 66th minute when the 20-year-old Jordan Amavi headed home his third goal of the season after Valentin Eysseric's free-kick caught the home defence napping.
The match almost seemed to end in a draw before former Lyon forward Alassane Plea swept home a cross from Eric Bautheac in the dying seconds.
With the back-to-back win, Claude Puel's men move up to the 10th place, while Ligue 1's early-season pace-setters Bordeaux, now without a win in four league matches, stay sixth with nine 21st round games remaining for this weekend.
