Mumbai, Dec 13: Producer Ashok Thakeria has much reason to be happy. His comedy Dhamaal featuring the all-boys cast of Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Javed Jaffrey and Ashish Chowdhary was stalled because of Sanjay Dutt's court case. But now Dutt is all set to shoot again for Dhamaal.
"He was supposed to shoot for us from Tuesday, but was indisposed. But now he's back," says Thakeria. Having said ta-ta TADA, Sanjay Dutt feels like a much free-er man. That sense of isolated terror has left the actor. And he's all set to return to work. Dutt returns to shooting this week itself with one of Sanjay Gupta's short stories in Dus Kahaniyaan. It will also star Suniel Shetty. Producer Sanjay Gupta also has him in a guest appearance for Hansal Mehta' Woodstock Villa.
Says Gupta, "The story in Dus Kahaniyaan to feature Sanju is tentatively entitled Rise & Fall. I hope to finish Dus Kahaniyaan by March 2007. But I've already started work on a sequel entitled Dus Aur Kahaniyan. The directors have gone back to the drawing board and we're already sourcing stories. Now with my vision already getting concretized in the first ten stories, more directors are agreeable to work on the short stories."
But Gupta's self-directed Alibaug which stars Dutt in a role inspired by Gupta's car accident some years ago has been postponed.
Says Gupta, "He's far more relaxed now and looking forward to work."
