Real Madrid manager not worried about match venue change

Rabat (Morocco), Dec 16 (IANS): Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is not worried about moving his team's Club World Cup semi-final against Mexican club Cruz Azul to the Grand Stadium in Marrakech the Moroccan resort instead of Complex Sportif Prince Moulay Abdellah here.

Ancelotti said upon his arrival at Rabat-Sale airport that his team is ready for all the possibilities and changing the game's venue does not cause the Los Blancos any problem, reports Xinhua.

Real Madrid squad arrived in Rabat Sunday evening led by the team president Florentino Perez and the club's talisman Cristiano Ronaldo.

FIFA has switched Real Madrid's opening match at the Club World Cup to Marrakech after heavy rain in Rabat causes huge damage to the stadium.

FIFA cites "difficult pitch conditions" at the Rabat stadium which hosted Cruz Azul's victory over Western Sydney Wanderers in torrential rain Saturday evening.

South American champion San Lorenzo of Argentina play Oceania champion Auckland City in the second semi-final Wednesday.
