St Aloysius evening college organizes certificate course in entrepreneurship

Mangaluru,Dec 11: Certificate course in entrepreneurship was held St Aloysius evening college. Entrepreneurship has emerged as a leading priority for economic empowerment both by governments and industry.

There is immense scope for educational institutions to join hands with trade bodies to kindle interest in Entrepreneurship and guide their initiatives in a structured manner. A Certificate Course in Entrepreneurship, a first of its kind in Mangaluru was organized by St Aloysius Evening College from December 1 to 8, 2014 with the recognition of Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI).










The course was specially targeted to budding entrepreneurs and students with the motto 'catch them young', along with the Central Governments new watchword 'Make in India'.

The faculty for this course was chosen from highly experienced bankers, entrepreneurs, consultants and professionals in practice. The course had a practical rather than academic orientation and was designed to deliver immediate value to its participants.

The course content included licensing, MSME financing, labour matters, and manpower management, subsidies, local body regulations and avenues available for new businesses in Dakshina Kannada. 72 participants benefited by the programme.
