Madrid, Dec 4 (IANS/EFE): The Spanish Professional Football League, LFP, has named Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti as La Liga Manager of the Month in November.
Ancelotti won the award Wednesday night after winning all possible league points in November -- 12 points in four matches in which Real Madrid scored 15 times.
"These numbers, together with the side's scintillating form and their splendid month, added to Ancelotti's talent to get the best from players like Isco, James Rodriguez and Marcelo mean that the Real Madrid manager is the Liga manager of the month," LFP said in a statement published on its website.
LFP also stressed that "the fact the side has recorded 16 wins on the spin deserves even more plaudits".
"With him on the touchline, the Whites are experiencing their best ever winning run in all competitions, beating the record previously set by Jose Mourinho and Miguel Munoz," LFP noted.
