14 year old boy dies after jumping from a compound wall

Udupi, Nov 18: A-14- year old boy died after he jumped from a 18 feet compound wall in a flat near Kunjibettu here on Monday November 17.

Deceased is identified as Hrithik H Shetty son of Harish S Shetty.

It is said that Hrithik was playing with a ball in flat veranda, while the ball fall into the nearby compound Hrithik went to fetch ball and tossed the ball to parking lot where he was playing.

Later he climbed 18 feet compound wall and jumped. This resulted in severe injuries to head, stomach, heart. Later the boy was shifted to KMC hospital. But unfortunately boy failed to respond to the treatment and passed away at around 11:15pm.

Udupi police have registered the complaint.
