Mangaluru, Nov 12: Communist Party of India organized State Council meeting at Simpson Soans hall on November 12 .
Addressing the gathering, Former MP, Aziz Pasha said, " BJP government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is just becoming a corporate friendly government. The poor labours and farmers are deeply affected with the policies of the government. There is huge gap between Minister Narendra Modi's declaration and implementation. The biggest wory is Modi is planning to scrap the Mahatma Gandhi NREGA scheme which was farmers friendly."
" When Narendra Modi had gone to the USA, the media made him a man who will bring changes to India but irony is that US President Barack Obama had asked Narendra Modi to bring changes in the present labour laws. They asked to implement "hire and fire policy" in India also so to get more support from USA.". He added.
" Modi had promised that FDI will bring changes in the country and more jobs will be created. However all are fake promises as of now. The good news is that RSS-affiliated Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) has joined other central trade unions to denounce the Centre's labour law amendments and its move to bring in FDI in insurance, railways and defence sectors.". He opined.
" There is a need of bringing changes in the electoral system beacuse in the recent Indian general election of 2014 statistics prove that out of total population of India only 14 percent have elected him and total registered voters is only 21 percent who favour BJP.". He expressed.
" Attempted murder, waging war on the state, criminal intimidation and fraud are some of the charges against newly appointed ministers by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. At least five people in the cabinet have been charged with serious offences such as rape and rioting."
"Ram Shankar Katheria, a lawmaker from Agra, has been appointed as junior education minister despite being accused of more than 20 criminal offences including attempted murder and promoting religious or racial hostility.". He added

For the first time both CPI and CPI(M) along with other 4 left parties are joining to host the conference.
