Mangalore: Woman, child missing-husband alleges her elopement

Mangalore, Nov 1: A Mijar gram resident lodged a complaint on Friday, October 31 with Moodbidri police station, alleging that his wife had eloped with a fellow-worker, taking their one year old child.
 
Maulaj, a daily wage labourer, in his complaint said that his wife ran away with Nagesh who worked with them. Nagesh used to work with Maulaj in a rubber plantation of Mite College. He was staying with Maulaj and his family which included his wife and four children.

It is learnt that all of them had gone to sleep on October 24 night after supper. When Maulaj got up at 4 am and looked around, he noticed that his wife Yamuna, their one year old child Kavana and Nagesh were missing, stated Maulaj in his complain.

Maulaj is a resident of Jai Bharath Colony of Honnapura in Dharwad district.
