Mangalore, Sep 5: The Global Multispeciality Hospital in association with Comprehensive Tribal Development Project, zilla panchayat, Mangalore will organize a free medical checkup camp for Koraga community on Sunday September 7 from 9 am to 1.30 pm. It is a part of the hospital’s community outreach programme to help the needy sections of the society.
Dr Manjayya Shetty, health officer, Mangalore city municipal corporation will inaugurate the camp at the Global Multispeciality Hospital premises situated at the third cross, Matadakani, Urwa. Shabir Mulla, project co-ordination officer, Comprehensive Tribal Development Project will be the guest of honour.
The Global Multispeciality Hospital is a UK based hospital. It has been providing quality healthcare and has been conducting health check up camps for the people of the locality from last one and a half years. The 100 bed multispecialty hospital is backed by advanced diagnostic and treatment equipment, a modular hi-tech OT and ICU. It also has beds and rooms to suit every category of patients and 24 hours emergency care.
Global hospital also has a unique mother and baby care unit providing prenatal and antenatal care, delivery and post natal care with a modern well equipped labour suite and NICU. Free consultation and free outpatient diagnostic tests will be provided to the Koraga community patients and if further treatment is required the patients will be admitted and cashless free treatment will be provided.
All those who are attending the camp shall be provided free to and fro transport facility.
