Mumbai, Aug 23: The ongoing construction of ‘Mini Kannada Bhavana’ of the Charkop Kannada Sangha will shortly be completed, said Bhaskara Sarapady, president of the Sangha, presiding at the annual meeting of the Sangha, held recently here.
Sarapady said that the Sangha which has been promoting cultural, religious and educational activities, is proud to announce the establishment of the bhavana, which is the result of the efforts of M S Rao.
Also present were M Rathod and Lata Bangera, honorary treasurer Jaya C Shetty, founder of the association, Shanker Poojary, Diwaker Shetty, artiste, G R Kulkarni, Sukanya Ravindra, B D Rao, G V Kanchugara, poet and writer, Gopala Trasi, M G Bhat, vice-president, R D Shetty, Narayana Rao and Satish Kedlaya.
