Mumbai, Jul 10: Salman Khan will not be hosting this season of 'Bigg Boss'. The exact reason for him quitting the show is not yet known. Some sources say that Salman was not happy with the remuneration, while some say he is too busy to shoot for 'Bigg Boss'.
Last year Salman had disagreement with the channel. He was unhappy that Kushal Tandon was brought back in the show. This may also be the reason for Salman quitting the show.
'Bigg Boss' seasons 1, 2 and 3 were hosted by Arshad Warsi,Shilpa Shetty and Amitabh Bachchan respectively. Salman Khan started to host from the fourth season.
After Salman joined the show as host, the TRPs of the show increased. Salman's charisma was said to be the reason for this. But there were some controversies also. Salman was said to be biased by Pooja Bedi in season 5. In season 6, he was targeted by hair stylist Sapna. In the last season, he was targeted by the audience on twitter for being partial to Armaan and Tanisha.
'Bigg Boss' can never be the same without Salman Khan. It will be very difficult for the channel to find a host, who can replace Sallu.
