Three arrested for fraudulently collecting funds

Udupi, Jun 4: Three persons accused in connection to a cheating case were nabbed on Wednesday June 4 by the Malpe police. 


According to Malpe police press release, prime accused, Pradeep Kumar of Brahmavar, in the name of a non-existing education institute sent his aides to Malpe Madhwaraj Trust to collect funds to run the bogus institution.

Pradeep Kumar allegedly claiming himself as the proprietor of Kundapur Tallur Varidaja Educational Institute opened an account in Vijaya Bank and collected funds from the Trust.

He was arrested along with his aides Yogish, resident of Kolambe, Brahmavar and Subhramanya of Chantaru. 

Futher investigations are on.
