Mangalore, Jun 17: Polling for the legislative council's South-West teachers and graduates constituencies began on Saturday May 17 morning. In all 32,352 voters will exercise their franchise in the elections.
The constituency consists of 6 districts, Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Davangere, Chikamagalur, Shimoga and Kodagu. A total of 6 candidates including BJP, Congress and JD (S) candidates are in fray for South-West graduates while 7 candidates are in fray for teachers constituency.
