Paris, Jun 9: The line-up for the ladies final at the French Open has been decided. Russian Svetlana Kuznetsova will take on defending champion Justine Henin Hardenne.
The eighth seeded Kuznetsova made a remarkable recovery fighting back from a set down to beat teenager Nicole Vaidisova of the Czech Republic 5-7, 7-6, 6-2.
The all-Belgian semi-final was much more one sided with Henin cruising to a 6-3, 6-2 win over Kim Clijsters.
The 24-year-old Henin came up with 62 winners as compared to just 43 for Clijsters.
The reigning US Open champion who was celebrating her birthday on Thursday would not have been too happy with her 29 unforced errors either.
For Henin though the final on Saturday will give her a chance to win her third French Open and fifth grand slam title.
