Bangalore, Jun 7: A Tata Indica car transporting employees of Thomson International call centre had a head-on collision with a water tanker, as result of which the two fatally injured occupants of the car died later in the hospital.

The mishap occurred at 4 am on Tnear the Command hospital on Airport Road. The deceased persons have been identified as Ms Harsha Hegde, who was rushed to NIMHANS immediately, but her life could not be saved. Rajesh, the driver of the car, and the security guard Madan Lal were taken to Mallya Hospital, where Rajesh was declared dead on arrival.

Madan Lal is also said to be severely injured. The driver of the water tanker is reported to be absconding.
